Isabella Pighi

Isabella Pighi is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in the music and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Data at BBC since June 2024, Isabella previously held the role of Director at Spotify from February 2023 to May 2024, and served as Vice President of Data at Napster from January 2021 to December 2022, contributing to the merger of MelodyVR and Napster. Earlier positions include Vice President of Data, Head of Data, and Director of Data Science Analytics at SoundCloud from May 2019 to January 2021, and Music Analytics at YouTube from July 2017 to April 2019. A data scientist at Google from April 2005 to June 2017 and a Technology Information Security Officer at Deutsche Bank from 2001 to 2005, Isabella holds Master of Science degrees in Human-Computer Interactions from UCL and in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano.
