Matt Maggart has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2009, they worked as a Summer Tennis Camp Instructor at Emory University. From 2011 to 2012, they held the role of Copywriter at HSBT, where they contributed to creative solutions for clients, including creating video tours and taking photos for a small gym. During the same period, they also worked part-time as a Warehouse Assistant at Maggart & Associates, gaining skills in soldering, metal cutting, packaging, and shipping. In 2012, they served as a Social Media Committee Member at ADPR Connection, focusing on boosting traffic and awareness through various social media platforms. Matt then worked as a Copywriter at Talking Dog Advertising, where they managed social media, planned events, and contributed to creative work and campaign concepts for a delivery cookie company. In 2013, they participated in the Google/Performics AdWords Certification Program as a Mentee, receiving certification in Google AdWords. Later in 2013, they joined Tribe, Inc. as a Traffic Manager, responsible for managing agency traffic, creative concepting, and social media management. Matt then took on the role of Project Manager/Assistant Producer, expanding their responsibilities to include production management, account management, new business development, agency marketing, and research analysis. In 2015, they joined Scout as a Jr. Project Manager, gradually progressing to the roles of Project Manager/Production Assistant, where they oversaw productions, including job bidding, talent management, budget and timeline creation and tracking, and location scouting. Matt also managed the in-house studio, Campfire. In 2021, they started working as a Content Producer at BBDO Atlanta.

Matt Maggart completed their education at The University of Georgia from 2010 to 2013, where they attained a degree in ABJ with a major in Advertising. Prior to attending The University of Georgia, they attended Georgia Southern University from 2008 to 2010, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or completed any specific field of study during their time there. In addition to their academic qualifications, Matt Maggart also obtained a certification in Google AdWords from Google/Performics in April 2013.
