Jesus Renero

Jesus Renero has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jesus is currently the Head of Advanced Analytics at BBVA AI Factory since January 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Faculty Member at IE Business School since October 2014, teaching Predictive Modelling in the Master in Business Analytics and Big Data program. From May 2018 to January 2020, Jesus was the Head of AI at BBVA. Before that, they worked at Sanitas as the Head of Data Science & Engineering from April 2017 to May 2018. Prior to Sanitas, they held multiple roles at Telefonica, including Head of Insights, Global BI/Big Data from November 2015 to April 2017, Head of Global Video BI/BigData Analytic Capabilities from January 2015 to November 2015, and various other leadership roles in data science and innovation. Jesus also worked at Telefonica I+D as a Portfolio Strategy Manager from 2008 to 2011, focusing on IP and standardization. Jesus started their career as a Senior Research Engineer at Ericsson from June 1999 to July 2008. Jesus also worked as an R&D Engineer at Telefonica I+D from June 1994 to June 1999. Jesus began their professional journey as a Researcher in Artificial Intelligence at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from September 1993 to September 1994, with Pedro Isasi as their director.

Jesus Renero's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994.
