Pedro Alier Ribot

Pedro Alier Ribot has extensive experience in strategy and business development within the finance sector, currently serving as the Director of Strategy & Business Development for Global Markets Fixed Income at BBVA since April 2010. Previously, Pedro held the position of Associate in Strategy and Business Development for Global Markets Rates, Currencies, and Commodities at the same institution. Prior to joining BBVA, Pedro worked as an Analyst in Global Risk Management in the Credit Risk Department at BBVA Asset Management and as an Analyst for the Fund of Hedge Funds Management Team at Proxima Alfa Investments SGIIC S.A. Pedro's early career included internships at Repsol in the Risk Department and at ED&F Man in the Research Department. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros and Bachelor's degrees in Economics from Universitat de Barcelona and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
