Gary Levin has had extensive experience in various leadership roles. Gary started their career as a Teacher at West Junior High School from 1997 to 1999. Gary then joined the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in 2000, where they held roles such as Associate Regional Director in Orange County/Long Beach and Director of Campus & Confronting Anti-Semitism Initiatives. At ADL, they oversaw leadership development, fundraising strategies, and managed staff. In 2009, they joined BBYO, serving as Area Executive Director, Director of Field Operations, North American Field Director, Vice President, and eventually Senior Vice President in the Community Impact department. Overall, Gary Levin has demonstrated their expertise in leadership and community impact throughout their career.
Gary Levin obtained their B.A. in History from UCLA in an unspecified year, but presumably prior to 1995. Gary then pursued their Ed.M. in Learning and Teaching at Harvard Graduate School of Education, completing it in 1997. Following that, Gary Levin embarked on their Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at UCLA School of Education and Information Studies, which they were still in progress for as of 2002. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained certifications in various areas such as Preventing Discrimination & Harassment and Recognizing and Preventing Phishing Attacks from Traliant, and Fat Chance: Probability from the Ground Up from edX in April 2019.
