Emma Titmuss is a skilled bioinformatician currently leading clinical bioinformatics at BC Cancer's Loree Lab since September 2022, focusing on data analysis for gastrointestinal oncology clinical trials and correlative biology for Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor trials. Prior experience includes a role as Research Programmer II at Canada's Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre, where co-leadership on a project examining somatic variant calling reproducibility contributed to a published software tool, TMBur. Additionally, Emma has worked as a research programmer in the Clinical informatics team for the Personalized Oncogenomics program. Early experience includes a Summer Vacation Scholarship in bioinformatics at the Wellcome Trust. Emma holds a Master’s degree in Genome Science and Technology from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Sussex.
