Rachel Gallo

Rachel Gallo is an accomplished professional in the field of regulatory compliance and policy development, currently serving as the Senior Policy & Projects Manager at the BC College of Oral Health Professionals since September 2022. In this role, Rachel leads regulatory projects and manages changes related to the Health Professions and Occupations Act. With extensive experience at the College of Dental Surgeons of BC since April 2011, Rachel has held multiple positions, including Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer and Investigations Paralegal, focusing on discipline and complaint investigations. Rachel's commitment to diversity and inclusion is demonstrated through participation in the Diversity & Inclusion Steering Committee, which addresses systemic issues within workplace culture. Prior experience includes serving as a Complaint Officer and Intake Coordinator at The Law Society of British Columbia. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Women's Studies from Simon Fraser University and a Certificate in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion from The University of British Columbia.
