John Sparks

John Sparks is currently working as an Ombudsperson Officer at the B.C. Office of the Ombudsperson. Prior to this, John has held positions as a Barrister & Solicitor at Jones Emery Hargreaves Swan and Smart & Biggar/Fetherstonhaugh. John also has experience as an Articled Student at Smart & Biggar/Fetherstonhaugh and The Law Centre. Additionally, John has worked as a Co-op Student at Dwyer Tax Law and as a Policy Research Assistant at BC Ministry of Energy and Mines. John holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with Professional Internship from Queen's University.
