Jonna Tallila

Jonna Tallila has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field, beginning in 2001 as a Research Assistant for MoBiDiag Oy. Jonna then worked as a Research Assistant/Undergraduate for HUS/Naistenklinikka in 2003, followed by a PhD student role at the National Institute for Health and Welfare in 2004. In 2009, they took on the role of Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, and then moved to Blueprint Genetics in 2013, where they held the roles of Product Owner and Geneticist. Most recently, they began working as a Lead Product Manager for BC Platforms in 2022.

Jonna Tallila obtained their Biomedical laboratory scientist degree from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in 2001. Jonna then went on to earn their MSc in Biotechnology from the University of Jyväskylä in 2006. Finally, they completed their PhD in Genetics from the University of Helsinki in 2009.
