Rupesh Parmar

Rupesh Parmar has a diverse work experience in various companies. Rupesh started their career at Applied Image Technology in 2000 as a Programmer/Technical Analyst. Rupesh then worked at Hertfordshire County Council as a Network Rail consultant, where they were responsible for requirements gathering, planning integration of financial systems, and designing data models.

In 2001, Rupesh joined AECOM as a Consultant, and in the same year, they also joined Burberry as a Global Business Intelligence Programme Manager. At Burberry, they led the global SAP project team, managed relationships with stakeholders, and implemented a successful SAP solution. Rupesh also reduced BI infrastructure costs and saved the company money through various initiatives.

Rupesh then worked as a Business Intelligence Manager at Debenhams for a year before joining Gap Inc. as a Senior BI Business Analyst. In 2013, they briefly worked at Profinda.com as a Business Intelligence Supremo.

From 2010 to 2014, Rupesh worked at Kuoni Global Travel Services as a Global Business Intelligence Manager. Rupesh managed a team, implemented innovative data visualization techniques, and increased the number of BI users significantly. Rupesh also played a crucial role in managing a corporate merger and implemented data governance initiatives.

Currently, Rupesh is working at BCD Travel as a Director - Product Analytics. In this role, they are responsible for delivering AI/ML driven analytics and optimizing travel programs and payments. Their work has helped secure incremental contracts and provide predictive and prescriptive insights for clients.

Rupesh Parmar obtained a Bsc in Computer Science with Management from the Royal Holloway, University of London between 1997 and 2000. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications related to blockchain and data management from LinkedIn in 2021.
