STRATEGY DIRECTOR (f, m, x)

We are looking for a STRATEGY DIRECTOR (f/m/x) in Germany who is key to uncover the organization’s identity and role in the world it can play, so that BrightHouse ideas can help move the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Leading a hybrid team of strategic, creative and practical thinkers
Shaping and leading multiple client projects simultaneously
Building and owning relationships with client teams, collaborating with and guiding them along the journey on our corporate purpose and mobilization projects
Overseeing research, insights, and ideation sessions on all project work
Designing and facilitating client workshops, often involving external thought-leaders
Driving development of impactful strategy and flawless execution of client deliverables
Guiding and supporting holistic thinking between strategy and creative teams, working hand-in-hand with our creative team from project start on
Playing a key role in business development, including shaping and pitching proposals together with BH Managing Directors
Contributing to internal leadership discussions and fostering intellectual curiosity, learning, best practice exchange
Collaboratively cooperating within BrightHouse and the BCG community
Coaching other team members
QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of experience leading projects, teams, and client relationships in strategy, consulting or other client service environments
Experience in and/or passion for purpose/value driven work and innovation with positive societal impact
Confident thinker, eloquent communicator and presenter and (slide) storyteller
Open to continued learning and growth
Background in business studies, psychology, philosophy, communication preferred
Understanding of organizational and social change (e.g., behavioral science, organizational culture, social movement theory, campaign strategy, etc.)
Confident at managing and collaborating with talented and diverse teams, bringing together powerful insights, bold ideas, and beautiful execution
Ability to manage responsibilities for multiple work streams simultaneously
Highly organized with attention to detail across many moving parts
Ability to work self-reliantly and effectively within one team and across projects – we believe in power of diversity and autonomy within teams
Willingness and passion to work in a fast-paced environment that fosters partnership and entrepreneurial spirit with module ownership
Mastering the professional project management consulting tool kit
Used to collaborate and lead capabilities with digital tools on client and internal projects
Professional level of both German and English
