April Damaso

April Damaso is an accomplished Senior UX Designer at BCLC since June 2023 and has been a Senior Product Design Mentor (UX/UI) at Vancouver Film School since October 2014, guiding teams in user experience best practices and design processes. Damaso has extensive experience in the UX/UI field, holding previous positions as Lead Designer at Cannametrics, Senior Product Designer at VRIFY and Progressa, and Sole Product Designer at WoahStork, among others. Notable achievements include being nominated for the “Unsung Hero” award shortly after starting at Vancouver Film School and serving as a consultant for the Entertainment Software Association of Canada. Damaso holds a Diploma in Interactive Design from Capilano University, which complements a robust career marked by impactful contributions to various innovative projects within multiple industries.
