Ivan Montemayor, E.I.T.

Ivan Montemayor, E.I.T. has been working in the engineering field since 2014. Ivan began their career at Northgate Country Club as an Outside Supervisor. In 2017, they joined A/W Mechanical Services, L.P. as a Controls Technician and Controls Administrator. In 2018, they continued their role as a Controls Technician at A/W Mechanical Services, L.P. In 2020, they began working at Pumps It, Inc. as a Shipping Receiving Clerk, where they were responsible for receiving merchandise, organizing distribution and shipping, taking inventory, and maintaining internal record-keeping systems. In 2021, Ivan joined CGL Engineering LLC as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they were tasked with creating, drafting, and designing product layouts and schemes using customer specifications, as well as reviewing designs with customers and making adjustments where necessary. Most recently, in 2023, Ivan began working at BCR as a Jr Design Engineer.

Ivan Montemayor, E.I.T. attended the University of Houston from 2016 to 2020, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician. Ivan then returned to the University of Houston and completed their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2025. In December of 2022, they obtained their Engineer In Training certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
