Courtney (Flora) Anderson

Courtney (Flora) Anderson has a long and varied career in the field of project management and consulting. Courtney (Flora) began their career in 2011 as a SIG Project Manager at the U.S. Department of Education, where they were responsible for coordinating, reporting, and stabilizing complex projects and initiatives. In 2012, they moved to Evolent Health as a Project Manager, Data Management, where they provided leadership and guidance to the Data Management team. In 2013, they began working as an IT Governance Consultant at the US Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (InfoReliance). In 2015, they became a Program Manager at Evoke Research and Consulting, LLC, where they managed a shared services team of project managers, facilitators, data analysts and communication specialists. In 2016, they served as an ORISE Fellow at the FDA, where they were responsible for coordinating and integrating research activities across the Food and Veterinary Medicine (FVM) Program. In 2018, they joined Federal Occupational Health as a Senior Project Manager, where they facilitated and managed operational and tactical aspects of multiple and large scale, national projects and operations. In 2019, they began working as a Project Manager at Amida Technology Solutions, where they served as an internal process consultant and project manager for healthcare data analytics and data transformation consulting programs. In 2020, they became a Director Program Management Office (Contract) at Emerging Sun, LLC for the National Science Foundation (NSF) (NCSES). Finally, in 2021, they began working as a Director, Office of Strategic Initiatives at BCT Partners.

Courtney (Flora) Anderson began their educational path in 2001 when they attended the University of Maryland. Courtney (Flora) did not receive a degree from this institution. In 2009, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Later that year, they earned a Master's Degree in Human Nutrition from Eastern Michigan University, which they completed in 2014.
