Anna Kakuba

Anna Kakuba is an experienced tax professional currently serving as a Tax Manager at BDO in East Africa since June 2022, following a role as a Senior Tax Advisor. Previously, Anna worked at KPMG Uganda from September 2015 to April 2021 as a Tax Consultant. Prior experience includes positions as Principal Customer Relations Executive and Customer Relations Executive in Imports at Spedag Interfreight East Africa Ltd. from August 2013 to April 2015, and a brief internship in finance at the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority in late 2012. Anna's education includes an ADIT in International Tax (2023-2024) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management - Finance from Bangalore University (2010-2013), along with a Customs and Freight Forwarding Practicing Certificate from Uganda Revenue Authority in 2019 and an International Baccalaureate from Aga Khan High School, Kampala.
