Sustainability Manager - Hot Water And Solar Solutions at BDR Thermea Group

Claudia Tridapalli has a diverse and extensive work experience. Claudia is currently working as the Sustainability Lead Engineer for Hot Water and Solar Solutions at BDR Thermea Group since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Teaching Faculty and Research Fellow at Geneva Business School from September 2019. At the school, they taught courses on sustainable business strategies, lean management, problem-solving, critical thinking, project leadership, project management, agile, design thinking, and personal development. Claudia was also involved in research on responsible leadership.

Before joining Geneva Business School, Claudia worked as a Consultant for High Performance at DeRose Method from January 2019 to June 2022. In this role, they used various concepts and techniques to guide individuals towards reaching their full potential and improving their performance in various aspects of life. Claudia focused on emotional, stress and conflict management, concentration, intuition and creativity, abstraction, strength, vitality, and other skills related to high performance.

From February 2016 to February 2019, Claudia served as the Manager of Global Sustainable Design & Development at Steelcase. Their responsibilities included managing the Sustainable Design & Development platform for the European region and aligning it globally. Claudia also played a key role in implementing design for environment strategies and practices, collaborating with product development teams and stakeholders.

Claudia's work experience also includes positions at Whirlpool Latin America. From May 2005 to June 2014, they worked as the Design for Excellence - Design for Value Manager, responsible for implementing methodologies and strategies related to value engineering, design for assembly, and design for environment. Claudia also focused on developing tools for product development processes, including life cycle analysis and design for service, to improve product maintainability. During their time at Whirlpool, they also worked as a Quality Engineer from December 2004 to May 2005.

In addition to their professional experience, Claudia worked as a Physical Chemistry Teacher at Elias Moreira for a brief period in August 2010.

Claudia Tridapalli completed their Doctor's Degree in Business Administration - Sustainability at Geneva Business School from 2021 to 2024. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 2008 to 2011. Claudia also holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution from 2000 to 2004. In 2013, Claudia pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from Universidade Federal do Paraná.
