Laurent Klenschi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Laurent is currently working as the Head of Product Development at BDR Thermea Group since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Quality - BDU Heat Pump & A/C at the same company from August 2019 to August 2023. Before joining BDR Thermea Group, Laurent worked as the Quality & HSE Manager at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing from September 2017 to August 2019. Laurent also gained valuable experience as a Team Coordinator and Senior Consultant at FERCHAU Engineering, where they developed businesses and coordinated engineering teams within automotive customers such as SEAT, Plastic Omnium, and Motherson from January 2016 to September 2017. Laurent has also held the position of Quality Manager at TRW from February 2013 to January 2016, where they effectively led the quality assurance team and significantly reduced customer claims and warranty payments. Prior to that, they served as a Task Force for Quality at Peguform from October 2011 to September 2012, working on improving quality performance, processes, and customer handling. Laurent also worked at Webasto as a Warranty Administrator from January 2008 to September 2011, where they successfully created a corporate system for warranty and claim settlement, resulting in significant cost reduction. Laurent also handled advanced quality planning of projects for RV vehicle makers. Laurent gained experience in supplier development during their time at Johnson Controls Automotive from April 2006 to October 2007, where they developed and qualified strategic suppliers in the EMEA area. Lastly, Laurent worked at Hella, serving as the Quality Assurance Manufacturing from August 2004 to March 2006 and as a Customer Project Manager from February 2001 to July 2004.

Laurent Klenschi obtained a Master's degree in Production & Automatism from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences and EPF Engineering School in the years 1996-2001. In 2019, they also obtained certifications in Six Sigma and Scrum from LinkedIn.
