Haleigh Peavey

Haleigh Peavey has been working in the environmental health and safety field since 2016. In 2017, they served as an International Sustainability Assistant with Growth International Volunteer Excursions (GIVE) in Northern Thailand, and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of New Hampshire. In 2018, they were a Marine Citizen Science Intern at Seaside Sustainability, Inc. where they conducted water quality testing, mudflat acidification, and monitored American eel populations. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as an Environmental Specialist at Triumvirate Environmental where they provided onsite support at Biogen Inc., lead at Eisai Inc. and New England Biolabs, and assisted EH&S departments at life science accounts with compliance management. Currently, they are a Sr. Associate, Lab Operations at Be Biopharma.

Haleigh Peavey attended Marshfield High School from 2010 to 2014, and then earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability from the University of New Hampshire in 2018. Haleigh has also obtained four additional certifications: Green Chemistry from My Green Lab in September 2022, My Green Lab Ambassador from My Green Lab in July 2022, Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) from the Institute for Environmental Education in August 2019, and Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Heart Association in March 2022.
