Ishara Datta, Ph.D. has worked in a variety of positions since 2010. In 2009, they completed a Summer Internship at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, where they worked under the advisement of M. M. Misro on a project involving basic molecular biology techniques training. The following year, they completed a Summer Internship at Jawaharlal Nehru University. In 2011, they worked as a Junior Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they worked under the advisement of M. N. Gupta on a project involving protein aggregation studies. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Research Associate at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, where they worked under the advisement of T. G. Shrivastava on a project involving the design of an efficient enzyme linked immunosorbent assay for the detection of dexamethasone in animal serum. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder. Currently, they are working as a Scientist in Rare Diseases at Be Biopharma.
Ishara Datta, Ph.D. completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Biotechnology from Amity University in 2011. Ishara then earned a Masters in Biotechnology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 2016. In 2022, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
