Whitney Duarte has over 8 years of experience in the beauty and personal care industry. Whitney began their career in 2013 as a Laboratory Intern at Cosmobeauti Lab, where they were responsible for formulating personal care products, managing quality assurance of products, and completing packaging and sample orders. In 2014, they were a Regulatory Affairs Intern at Mary Kay Inc., where they were in charge of implementing a new Product Lifecycle Management software, compiling chemical regulations across various international regions, and representing Regulatory Affairs in multi-department status meetings on PLM project. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at Markwins Beauty Brands Global in three different roles: Retail Marketing Manager, Project Manager, and Regulatory Affairs Specialist. As Retail Marketing Manager, they were responsible for developing brand customer strategy and retailer marketing activations to grow revenue at Walmart, Target, ULTA, and Five Below. As Project Manager, they were responsible for creating full scope project plans for new product innovation for multiple large scale concurrent global launches and driving project execution on time and within budget. As Regulatory Affairs Specialist, they were responsible for providing regulatory support for cosmetic and OTC new product development and existing finished goods to ensure and maintain chemical, formula, and packaging compliance on a global level as demanded by dynamic regulations. Currently, they are a Sr Manager of Retail Marketing at BEACH HOUSE GROUP, where they are responsible for shaping the go to market and promotional strategy at retail to drive revenue growth for MOON Oral Care. Retail accounts include ULTA, Target, CVS, and Boots.

Whitney Duarte attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chemistry. Whitney is currently enrolled at the University of Salamanca.
