Glenn Moynihan, PhD

Glenn Moynihan, PhD, has a diverse work experience in research and software engineering roles. Glenn is currently working as a Senior Research Software Engineer at Beacon Biosignals since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Invenia Labs as a Research Software Engineer from September 2018 to March 2023, where they developed scientific software and advocated for the needs of the Research team. Glenn also has experience in science outreach, teaching, and curriculum development at STEAM Education Ltd from September 2015 to December 2017. At Trinity College Dublin, they worked as a Research Assistant in October 2017, composing a grant application to the European Research Council, and as a Doctoral Researcher at CRANN, School of Physics from September 2013 to October 2017, conducting theoretical research and implementing novel correctional techniques. Glenn also worked as a Tutor and Computer Lab Assistant at the School of Maths from September 2012 to May 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as an Assistant Trader Intern at Susquehanna International Group, LLP from June 2013 to August 2013, and as a Summer Student at the Materials Research Lab, University of California, Santa Barbara in June 2012, where they conducted research on computational fluid dynamics.
