Pierre Dulawa has extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering. Pierre started their career as a Full Stack Web Developer at Holler Sydney in 2011 before joining Canal+ as an intern in Integration and Support in 2012. At Canal+, they were responsible for establishing a knowledge management system for the maintenance department.

In 2012, Pierre joined Worku Ventures International as a Full Stack Web Developer, where they primarily worked on the B2B web interface for the product Spokeable.com. Pierre was in charge of designing, creating, and maintaining both the frontend and backend for this part.

After that, Pierre worked at Webfutur as a Web Developer, where they developed and maintained various projects, including Facebook games, promotional websites, and web apps. Pierre used languages such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and worked with tools like Drupal, WordPress, and jQuery.

Later, Pierre joined SmartPlace as a Web Engineer, where their responsibilities included maintaining the code base and developing new features for the CRM web app. Pierre used PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Symfony 2, and jQuery for development.

In 2015, Pierre became the CTO at Check and Move, where they held the role until 2017. During their time there, they were responsible for technology decisions and management.

Following that, Pierre worked at Smile Open Source Solutions as a Web Engineer for a few months in 2017 before joining comet as a DevOps/SRE Engineer. At comet, they were initially responsible for the company's infrastructure on AWS, including maintenance, security, reliability, monitoring, and automation. Later on, they became the Lead Backend, where they led the creation of a backend team and assisted with recruitment, management, and technical decision-making.

In 2021, Pierre joined Dreem as a DevOps/SRE Engineer. Their responsibilities included managing the AWS infrastructure, handling AWS EKS clusters, RDS instances, and S3 storage. Pierre focused on improving reliability, enforcing HIPAA requirements, and managing technical debt. Pierre used languages such as Python and Go, and worked with tools like AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Datadog, and Elasticsearch.

Currently, Pierre works at Beacon Biosignals as a Site Reliability Engineer, starting in 2023.

Pierre DULAWA completed their education at several institutions. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Lycee Professionnel Saint-Genes in Bordeaux, France, where they earned a Baccalaureat Professionnel in M.R.I.M. Following this, they enrolled at EPITECH - European Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2013, studying Information Technology and achieving the degree of IT & IS Expert. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued further education at the Australian Catholic University, specializing in Business Information Systems and obtaining a Master's degree.
