David Barton

David Barton is an accomplished cardiologist with extensive experience in interventional and structural cardiology. Currently serving as the Research Director for Cardiology and the Director of Interventional and Structural Cardiology at Beacon Hospital since February 2021, David Barton is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University College Dublin since July 2022. Prior roles include Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from July 2013 to February 2021, and various positions in cardiology and internal medicine at other institutions. David Barton's clinical expertise is complemented by a robust educational background from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, where a degree in medicine was obtained.
