Juan Soberanis

Juan Soberanis is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in software engineering and leadership. Currently serving as CEO at Beacon Maps since June 2021, Soberanis previously held the position of CTO at Jatter from September 2018 to May 2021. With a history of developing innovative mobile applications, Soberanis worked as an iOS Engineer at LINKA Lock, where the focus was on smart bike locks and app development. Prior experiences include roles as iOS Engineer and Engineering Manager at Sounds True, leading the development of mobile apps, as well as independent contracting for various clients. Soberanis has also held leadership positions at Simple.TV, doubleTwist, and Adobe Systems, contributing to projects such as web-connected DVRs and DVD authoring applications. Soberanis earned a BS in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
