Sandeep Singh

Sandeep Singh has worked in a variety of roles in the software and data engineering space. In 2021, they are a Deep Learning Mentor at DeepLearning.AI and a Teaching Assistant at Full Stack Deep Learning. In 2019, they were the Sr. Director of Applied DL/Computer Vision at Beans.ai, where they were responsible for building end to end solutions for scalable Computer Vision on massive satellite image data, modelling and researching Deep Neural Architecture Search, creating CI/CD pipelines for development and production of Deep Learning Models, and dockerizing ML and DL models. Before that, they were the Director of Applied DL/Computer Vision at the same company, where they built Machine Learning Capabilities from scratch and helped teams build new revenue streams using supervised and unsupervised techniques. In 2018, they were a Deep Learning Research Fellow at The Data Institute, University of San Francisco, where they contributed to the state of art deep learning framework by employing various DL techniques to various different problem domains. From 2015-2018, they were a Principal Member of Technical staff in ML Engineering for Sustaining Engineering team for Oracle Identity and Access Manager/Oracle Web Service Manager team, where they designed, implemented, and evaluated deep learning models to meet specific performance requirements. In 2014, they were a Lead Data/Analytics Researcher at BlackRock, where they played the role of Web Architect for the iShares Product Technology Group. From 2010-2014, they were a Senior Data Architect/Software Engineer at CoreLogic, where they built a classification system to perform classification of orders and predict their conversion rate and a Sentiment Analysis pipeline. From 2008-2010, they were a Lead Software Analytics Engineer at Cisco Systems, where they designed and developed a network data heuristic dashboard. Finally, from 2006-2008, they were a Software Developer at Oracle, where they were responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting various enterprise data analytics tools and frameworks. From 2005-2006, they were a Data Tools Developer at Misys, where they developed data tools for a retail banking conglomerate.

Sandeep Singh has a diverse educational background. Sandeep obtained their MS in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021, with a focus on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. In 2018, they completed a course in Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University. In 2016, they also completed a Certificate Course in Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University. In 2013-2014, they obtained their CFA Level 2 from the CFA Institute, with a focus on Investments and Securities.
