Mitchel Volis

Mitchel Volis has a diverse work experience that begins with their role as a Laboratory Intern at SYMBIOTIC RESEARCH, LLC in 2018. Mitchel supported the laboratory scientific staff in various operations and conducted studies following GLP regulations.

In 2019, Volis worked as a Business Analyst Intern at Beanstalk, Inc. During this role, they outlined problems and solutions related to irrigation, water use, and nutrient solutions. Mitchel also contributed to the research and development of sustainable vertical farming methods and assisted with daily operations.

Volis then joined the University of Rochester as a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Research Assistant in 2018. Their work involved applying CFD to engineering problems, specifically studying and modeling the aerodynamics of a soccer ball in flight.
