Philip Williams has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Philip started their career at Ragnar Benson Construction, LLC, where they held multiple roles. As the Equipment and Yard Coordinator, they were responsible for managing the resource allocation of equipment and manpower for ongoing projects. Philip then worked as a Project Engineer, assisting Project Managers with purchasing, tracking, and closing out projects. Later, they served as an Estimator and Purchasing Agent, where they reviewed plans, created scope documents, and communicated with owners and subcontractors. In their most recent role at BEAR Construction Company, Philip worked their way up from Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager and eventually Senior Project Manager. Philip was responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including bidding, contract review, and project closeout. Philip'swork experience demonstrates strong project management skills and a thorough understanding of the construction industry.
Philip Williams began their education in 1998 at Illinois State University, where they studied Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. This period continued until 2001 when they transitioned to Elmhurst University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in the same field of study, graduating in 2003. In terms of additional certifications, Philip obtained the OSHA 30 Hour Training certification from OSHA in 2005. Later, in 2012, they became CTA Rail Certified by the Chicago Transit Authority. Most recently, Philip obtained the LEAN Construction certification from the Lean Construction Institute (US) in July 2021.
