William Nitsch

Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Bear Flag Robotics

William Nitsch has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. William currently works as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Bear Flag Robotics since October 2022. Prior to this, they were a Computational Biologist at 10x Genomics from November 2020 to October 2022. William also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ReadCoor, Inc. from August 2020 to November 2020. Before that, they were an Image Processing Engineer at GreenSight from December 2017 to August 2020.

William's earlier experiences include working as an Application Support Engineer at The MathWorks from November 2016 to December 2017. William served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of New Hampshire from August 2014 to August 2016. William also had internships as an Electrical Engineering Intern at American Science and Engineering, Inc. from May 2014 to August 2014 and as a Summer Engineering Intern at Electric Boat from May 2012 to August 2012.

Additionally, William had another internship at American Science and Engineering, Inc. from May 2013 to January 2014. In this role, they created LabVIEW programs for decoding and formatting OrCAD netlist files and rewrote existing PID controller code in C on PIC18 MCU.

During their time as a student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, William worked as a Student Tutor from September 2011 to April 2014.

William Nitsch earned their Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. William attended Wentworth from 2009 to 2014. In 2010, they also obtained a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Associate from Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation. Following their undergraduate studies, William pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, where they studied from 2014 to 2016.
