Chris Vorlicek

Director of Development at Bear Peak Power

Chris Vorlicek has over 10 years of professional experience in the energy and engineering industries. In 2009, they founded 360 Del Mar, a company that repaired broken Microsoft Xbox 360's. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Co-op at Mercury Computer Systems, where they completed various design projects and operated a large air flow chamber and proctor vibration tests. At the same time, they were a Project Leader at Tufts University Department of Mechanical Engineering, where they successfully converted a car with a ICE to an all electric driven vehicle. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Innovative Engineering Solutions, Inc. as a Project Engineer and Solar Engineer, conducting site layout preliminary design drawings and photovoltaic (PV) power system feasibility studies. Chris also worked as a Solar Engineer at Industria Engineering, Inc. in 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Project Engineer at Energy and Resource Solutions, providing technical assistance for various energy-related projects. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Project Development Engineer at Ecos Energy, LLC, managing the development of several solar PV facilities within the New England territory. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Development Manager at Lightstar Renewables, LLC and is currently the Director of Development and Senior Project Developer at Bear Peak Power.

Chris Vorlicek obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University in 2011. In April 2012, they obtained a NABCEP Solar Installer certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
