Mike McGookey

Mike McGookey has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Mike started their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Randstad Technologies US in 2014. In 2015, they worked as an intern at Information and Technology Services University of Michigan. In 2016, they interned as a Software Development Leadership Program Intern at GE Healthcare and as a Techlab Partnership Intern at Civil Maps.

From 2017 to 2019, Mike worked at GE Power, where they held various roles as a Cyber Security Engineer, Software Engineer, and Security Analyst. In 2019, they joined GE Aviation as a Staff Infrastructure Architect and stayed with the company until 2021.

In 2021, Mike took on the role of a Cloud Consultant at Slalom, where they worked for a year before joining Bear Robotics in 2022 as a Software Engineer.

Mike McGookey completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E) in Computer Science from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, from 2017 to 2020.
