Amanda Firth has extensive experience in human resources management. Amanda started their career in 1995 as a Senior Managing Consultant at Gallup, where they specialized in the science of psychometrics and improved employee selection and performance management strategies. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Training Manager at Halliburton/KBR, Inc., developing health, safety, and environment training programs in Iraq. At Neiman Marcus, they served as a Human Resources Manager, overseeing payroll budget preparation and leading employee relations efforts. From 2009 to 2012, Amanda was a Human Resources Manager at DynCorp International, providing leadership and supervision for employee relations, staffing, compliance, and contracts. Amanda then joined The Waggoners Trucking as the Human Resources Director, designing a compliant HR strategy and managing the company's self-funded health plan. Most recently, they have been working at BearCom as the Vice President of Human Resources, ensuring the company's HR processes support its brand promise.

Amanda Firth earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin, completing their education from 1989 to 1993. Amanda then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their academic qualifications, Amanda Firth holds several certifications related to human resources. Amanda obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 2009 and again in May 2012. Furthermore, they acquired another certification, the SHRM-CP, from SHRM in December 2015, and obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification once more from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in December 2015.
