Camilo Gómez

Camilo Gómez has work experience as a Software Engineer at Bearing since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at guane Enterprises from 2020 to 2023. At guane Enterprises, they held multiple roles including Python Developer, Software Developer, and Engineering Intern. In these roles, they automated contracts' information extraction for the maritime shipping industry, created microservices for deploying machine learning models, implemented pipelines for manipulating tabular data, created frontends connected to APIs for data-focused applications, and used JS libraries to create interactive graphs. Additionally, Camilo had a research internship at the University of Toronto in 2022, where they simulated crystal structures using Crystal Graph Convolutional Neural Networks and applied clustering and similarity techniques to search for possible new materials.

Camilo Gómez is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics at the Universidad de Antioquia.
