Felipe Zapata Villa

Felipe Zapata Villa has a diverse work experience. Felipe started their career as an Ingeniero Jr. En investigación y desarrollo at IECOS in 2020. Felipe then joined ePropel as a Lead Generator / Project Manager, where they successfully established the Lead Generation department and contributed to significant revenue growth. In 2021, Felipe worked as a Project Engineer at IECOS, where they were responsible for basic and detailed engineering for various projects, focusing on mechanical design. Felipe joined Renault in 2022 as a Functional Elemental Pilot - Lead Engineer, overseeing the development of functional elements. Currently, Felipe is working as a Sales Engineer at Bearing since 2023.

Felipe Zapata Villa pursued their education in mechanical engineering. Felipe obtained their Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad EAFIT, where they studied from 2016 to 2021. In 2021, they participated in an academic exchange program at Tecnológico de Monterrey to further enhance their knowledge in the field.

In addition to their formal education, Felipe also obtained several certifications to complement their engineering skills. Felipe completed the "Programming For Everybody" course from Coursera in February 2023. Felipe's other certifications include a Diploma in Project Formulation, Evaluation, and Management from Universidad EAFIT, which they achieved in October 2022. Felipe also completed a Safety Course from MSHA Safety Services in February 2022.

Felipe demonstrated their commitment to continuous learning and professional development by undertaking various courses related to their field. Felipe completed a course on cryptocurrencies at Universidad EAFIT in December 2021 and acquired basic notions of bearings from SKF Group in November 2021. In June 2019, Felipe became a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) in Mechanical Design and a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) in Mechanical Design, both from Dassault Systèmes.
