Matthew Willems

Matthew Willems is currently the Head of Project Management at Beatport, where they lead and guides a global team of project managers. Matthew'srole involves maintaining a high standard in the planning and execution of diverse campaigns, including overseeing product launches, trade shows, contests, online events, promotional material production, apparel, and multimedia projects.

Prior to Beatport, Matthew founded and currently oversees Perfect Driver Music, an internationally acclaimed tech-house record label. In this role, they manage a portfolio of carefully curated EPs and compilations from artists worldwide, while cultivating extensive relationships with key industry figures across global music brands.

Matthew also has experience as a Freelance Creative Services Producer at 24 Seven Talent, where they provided creative services on a freelance basis. Additionally, they worked as a Music Business Lecturer and Production & Synthesis Instructor at Icon Collective, where they instructed and inspired students in music production, synthesis, and the music business.

Earlier in their career, Matthew served as a Production Specialist and Project Manager - Creative Services at Guitar Center. In this role, they initiated project orders for diverse marketing channels, coordinated with master production schedules, and monitored the progress of over 100 jobs simultaneously.
