Miriam Reid

Miriam Reid has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. From 2022 onwards, they hold the position of Head of Business Management and Chief of Staff for Global Cyber Risk at Beazley. In this role, they are responsible for operationalizing the cyber risk strategy and leading the Cyber Risk Business Management team to provide support to the division.

Before joining Beazley, Miriam worked at AIG from 2015 to 2022. Their roles at AIG included International Claims Process Optimization Lead, Change Partner and UK Lead of Strategic Change Initiatives, and EMEA Executive Manager and Chief of Staff to EMEA COO.

Prior to AIG, Miriam served as a Lean Management Transformation Consultant & Mobilization Lead and Major Clients Relationship Manager at AIG from 2001 to 2015. Miriam also worked as a Profit Centre Manager for Accident & Health during this time.

Miriam Reid holds a Chief of Staff Executive Certification from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which they obtained in 2023. Miriam also completed an Executive MBA at Cranfield School of Management from 2019 to 2021. In 2013, they received an Accreditation in Lean Management from Cardiff University, and in 2001, they earned a Management degree from Open University Business School. Miriam's education background also includes a Master Degree in Economics from Ekonomicka Univerzita, Bratislava, which they attained from 1992 to 1997. Additionally, they hold the certifications of Certified Chief of Staff® (Level 1) from The Chief of Staff Association and Chartered Manager & Fellow of Chartered Management Institute CMgr FCMI from the Chartered Management Institute.
