Simran Butalia

Simran Butalia has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From 2014 to present, they have been the Chief Technology Officer at BeBop Technology, where they have led the adoption of cloud-based workflows in the Hollywood media industry. Simran has also been responsible for new product development and leading IT and support operations. Prior to this, Simran co-owned and worked as a Dance Instructor at Dance By Butalia, where they shared their passion for traditional and competitive Bhangra.

Simran also has experience in front-end development, working at Butalia Media Consulting from 2011 to 2017. Simran developed numerous full-stack AngularJS/Node.js web applications and was proficient in various technologies such as MongoDB, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, LESS, and Bootstrap. Simran also gained experience in unit, functional, and performance testing.

In addition, Simran worked at various other companies, including Curby, I Just Wanna Dance, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Positron Imaging Partners, RKM Group, LakersNation.com, and Deluxe Digital Studios. These roles allowed him to develop skills in front-end development, digital media creative direction, and Java AWS Cloud architecture and development.
