Avijit Ray

Avijit Ray is a seasoned professional in the engineering and project management field, currently serving as the Principal Vice President and Managing Director of Bechtel Corporation's India offices, overseeing operations, shared services, and information technology across multiple locations. With extensive experience since joining Bechtel in October 1998, Avijit has held various senior roles, including Principal Vice President & Project Manager, where responsibilities included business strategy, engineering automation, and talent development. Prior to Bechtel, Avijit worked at Engineers India Limited from July 1984 to September 1998 as a Process Design Manager, specializing in refinery technologies and project management. Avijit holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
