Joanna Petty

Joanna Petty is an experienced professional in youth engagement and participation, currently serving as the Campaigns and Participation Manager at Become since December 2022. Previously, Joanna held the position of Youth Voice Lead at The Children's Society from July 2022 to December 2022, and served as the Engagement and Participation Lead at the Department for Education from April 2021 to July 2022. Joanna's extensive background in youth engagement also includes a long tenure as Youth Engagement Lead at The Children's Society from April 2006 to April 2021. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Child Welfare and Wellbeing from Oxford Brookes University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Theology from the University of Winchester.
