Peyman Najmabadi

Peyman Najmabadi, PhD, is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in biosciences and imaging solutions. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at BD Biosciences, Peyman has held significant roles including Sr. Director of Next-Generation Instrumentation at the same company. Prior positions include Director of R&D and Director of Systems Engineering at Leica Biosystems, and various managerial and scientific roles at Aperio, where Peyman led projects in fluorescence digital imaging and systems engineering. Peyman's academic experience includes a postdoctoral research associate position at the University of California-San Diego and an R&D mechanical engineering research assistant role at the Robotics and Automation Laboratory at the University of Toronto.
