Samuel Evans

Samuel Evans is an experienced engineer specializing in product development and research in the medical device industry. Currently serving as an Associate Staff Engineer in R&D Sustaining at BD since June 2021, Samuel previously held the position of Director of Product Development at Thrombolex, Inc. from August 2019 to June 2021, and served in the same role at Thubrikar Aortic Valve from July 2010 to July 2019, overseeing the development of class III medical devices such as transcatheter aortic valves. Samuel's earlier experience includes roles at ARUP Laboratories and Worldheart Inc., where skills in biomedical engineering and animal study techniques were developed. Samuel holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from South Dakota Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Utah.
