Sergej Proskurin

Sergej Proskurin is a senior staff security engineer at BlueRock Security, where tenure began in August 2020. Previously, Proskurin served as a guest lecturer at the Technical University of Munich from February 2021 to October 2022, co-leading a seminar on systems security. A researcher and PhD candidate at Technische Universität München from February 2016 to August 2020, Proskurin was also a visiting research scholar at Stony Brook University in 2018. Prior roles include research assistant at Fraunhofer AISEC, where work focused on real-time operating systems and embedded systems security, and various development roles during internships and working student positions. Proskurin holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich, along with a Master of Science in Informatics, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, and experience in international research settings.
