Stephen Mitchell Smith has a long history of working in the technology and engineering fields. Stephen Mitchell then attended North Carolina State University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Finally, they attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2014 to 2015 and earned a Master of Science (MS) in Robotics Systems Design.
