Julie Valk Vaccaro

Julie Valk Vaccaro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Julie began their career with an internship at GE TIP Trailers in 2007. Julie then joined GE Healthcare, where they participated in the Financial Management Program and later became a Financial Management Program Intern in Supply Chain Finance. Following this, they joined GE's Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) as an Associate Auditor, and later as an Audit Manager, gaining experience in financial and compliance auditing and strategy consulting to GE Power Conversion.

In 2011, Julie moved to GE Power, where they held various executive roles, including Executive - CFO Global Sourcing and Executive, Strategic Sourcing Power Services. During their time at GE Power, they focused on strategic planning, contract negotiations, establishing strategic relationships, and executing cost and cash strategies.

In 2019, Julie joined Boom Supersonic as the Head of Supply Chain Business Development and subsequently took on roles as VP Supply Chain & Program Office, VP Programs & Operations, and VP, Commercial Development & Operations. Julie played a key role in the design and development of the Overture supersonic aircraft and raised significant funding for the company.

Most recently, in 2022, Julie joined Beehive Industries as the VP Manufacturing Programs and Strategic Sourcing.

Julie Valk Vaccaro completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Economics from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they pursued their studies from 2006 to 2007.
