Jerry O'Sullivan

Jerry O'Sullivan has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jerry is currently working as a Senior Director of Software Engineering at Beeline since November 2022. Previously, they worked at Utmost as the Head of Delivery from February 2021 to April 2023, where they were responsible for building and leading cross-functional engineering teams. Before that, they served as the Head of Digital Planning and Delivery at Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline from January 2018 to January 2021, leading the rebuild of their website. Jerry also has experience in IT transformation and change management roles at Aviva from 2007 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Consultant at Linxoft Solutions Inc. and as a Senior GIS Developer at ESBI Computing.

Jerry O'Sullivan attended Bishopstown Community School from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained their Leaving Cert. After that, they enrolled in University College Cork and studied there from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geographic Information Science and Cartography. Following a significant gap in their education, O'Sullivan decided to further their studies at the UCD Smurfit School, where they pursued an MSc in Business (Leadership & Management Practice) from 2016 to 2018. Concurrently, they attended the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and completed a Major in Advanced Management Performance (B415) in 2018, along with a Major in Strategy, Innovation & Change in 2017. In terms of additional certifications, O'Sullivan obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2022.
