Adam Van Ymeren has a diverse and extensive work experience. Adam is currently working as a Software Engineer at Beeper since December 2021. Before that, they founded Scalar.tools in October 2019, where they built a project management tool and served as the Founder and Primary Developer. At Scalar.tools, they designed and implemented a full-stack, offline-first, incrementally synchronized database with a user-defined schema. Adam also developed diverse UIs for interacting with the data and implemented dashboarding, reporting, and sharing of data. The tool was based on the FOAM framework that they co-founded at Google and used at nanopay Corporation, where they worked as a Principal Software Engineer from August 2017 to October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineering Consultant for an unspecified company from March 2017 to July 2017. Adam started their career as a Software Engineer at Google in September 2011 and worked there till March 2017. Before joining Google, they had an internship as a Software Engineer at IBM from May 2009 to September 2010.

Adam Van Ymeren attended Western University from 2006 to 2011, where they earned their B.E.Sc degree in Software Engineering. Their field of study was Computer Software Engineering.
