Brad Murray

Brad Murray has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Brad is currently the Co-founder and CTO at Beeper, where they are responsible for building the future of chat. Prior to that, they worked at Faire for two years, initially as a Senior Frontend Developer and later as a Senior Engineering Manager. At Faire, they contributed to engineering culture and process, implemented bug tracking and triage processes, and worked on a wide variety of projects. Before Faire, Brad was at Fitbit where they held the positions of Director, Embedded Software, and Senior Manager, Embedded Software. Brad was responsible for the development and integration of the SDK, represented the Canadian office during the acquisition by Fitbit, and helped organize and unite the firmware, mobile, and web teams. Prior to Fitbit, Brad worked at Pebble Tech for four years, where they held various roles including Firmware Engineering Manager, Firmware Platform Lead, and GM of the Canadian office. Brad was instrumental in building a company of over 160 employees. Brad's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Sandvine and as a Software Developer at Allerta Incorporated.

Brad Murray attended the University of Waterloo from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering.
