Ismael T.

Ismael T. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product design, UX writing, and UX research. Ismael started their career in 1999 as a Graphic Designer at Bell and then worked as a Web Designer/Developer at Interdev in 2000. From 2001 to 2006, they served as an Interactive Designer/Developer at Eagle. In 2005, Ismael became a Creative Director at INK, a role they held until 2010.

From 2008 to 2010, they worked as an Interactive Designer/Art Director at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide, where they contributed to the conception, design, and development of 360 campaigns. In 2010, Ismael joined TBWA\WORLDHEALTH as a Digital Art Director, where they conceptualized print, digital, and mobile tactics.

Ismael then moved on to ScrollMotion in 2011, working as an Associate Creative Director and leading a team in the development of innovative mobile apps. Ismael joined Omnicom Health Group in 2014 as a VP and Group Art Supervisor, overseeing design and user experience for digital projects.

In 2016, they became a Consultant for Product Design and Design System at JDRF International. Currently, Ismael holds the position of Global Director of Product Design, UX Writing, and UX Research at BEES, leading a team of UX and UI Designers, Writers, and Researchers in creating world-class user experiences for a top 10 E-commerce marketplace.

Ismael T. has a background in Graphic Design and Computer Graphics from Collège Inter-Dec in Montréal. Ismael also studied Graphic Design at Collège LaSalle in Montréal. Additionally, Ismael pursued Computer Science at Dawson College. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Certificate of Membership from The Interaction Design Foundation in 2010. More recently, Ismael has received certifications in High Impact Virtual Presentations from Dale Carnegie Training in 2021, and in InVision Design Leadership, Commucicating with Presence, and Certified E-Commerce UX Professional in 2020 from different institutions.
