Brian LeRoux has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as a UX Developer at Habanero Consulting Group in 2006. Brian then worked as a Software Architect / User Experience Developer at ResponseTek from 2003 to 2006. Following that, they joined Nitobi as a Software Architect, Client Services and contributed to various projects using open source technologies until 2011. Brian then joined Adobe as a Principal Scientist, where they led a large team and played a crucial role in open sourcing PhoneGap into the Apache Software Foundation. Additionally, they were the VP of Apache Cordova at The Apache Software Foundation from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, Brian co-founded Begin and served as its Cofounder and CTO. Brian also took on the role of Benevolent Dictator for JS Foundation Architect at the Linux Foundation in 2017.

Brian LeRoux attended Life from 1996 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in Philosophy and Computer Science.
