Dr. Christina Holzkämper has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Dr. Christina started their career in 1991 as a singer and dancer in the production "West Side Story" at Opernhaus Kiel. Dr. Christina then worked as a regiehospitanz at Opernhaus Kiel, assisting in the German premiere of "Mona Lisa" under the direction of Anja Sündermann. In 1995, they completed a marketing internship at Provenzial Leben, Versicherungsanstalt Schleswig-Holstein.
Dr. Holzkämper continued their career with a series of internships, including a practical training in market research and marketing consulting at mc marktconsult - Institut für Marktforschung und Marketingberatung, and a practical training in human resources at Baumgartner & Partner Personalberatung GmbH.
In 1998, Dr. Holzkämper worked as a project manager for their business administration diploma thesis at Motorola GmbH. The following year, they became a scientific employee at the University of Bremen, where they acquired and led various research and industry projects. Dr. Christina also worked as a lecturer during their time at the university.
In 2004, Dr. Holzkämper joined BEGO Bremer Goldschlägerei Wilh. Herbst GmbH & Co. KG for the first time, where they initially served as an assistant to the commercial management. In this role, they focused on co-project management and process restructuring in logistics. Dr. Christina was also involved in warehouse and layout optimization, introduction of IT-supported commissioning, and packing processes. Dr. Christina later took on the role of head of material management and facility management, as well as being responsible for air security.
Dr. Holzkämper then moved to Bruker Daltonics in 2017, where they worked in strategic purchasing.
Finally, in 2018, Dr. Holzkämper returned to BEGO Bremer Goldschlägerei Wilh. Herbst GmbH & Co. KG, this time as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dr. Christina currently holds this position, responsible for overseeing the company's operational activities.
Dr. Christina Holzkämper began their education at the Max-Planck-Gymnasium in Kiel, where they completed their Abitur from 1985 to 1994, focusing on German and French. Dr. Christina then attended Hochschule Flensburg from 1995 to 1999, where they received a Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) degree with a specialization in Marketing and Market Research. Following this, they attended the University of Bremen from 1999 to 2000, where they obtained a Diplom Ökonom degree with a focus on BWL: Innovationsprozesse und Projektmanagement and VWL: Markt und Politik in Europa. Later, Dr. Holzkämper returned to the University of Bremen, completing their Promotion zum Dr. rer. pol degree from the Lehrstuhl für Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Industriebetriebslehre und Produktionswirtschaft, which started at an unknown year and finished in 2005.
