Jim Gray

Jim is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, a Digital Health Entrepreneur and Healthcare Advisor. He has been Clinical Director of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust since 2013. His role has defined redesigns of clinical areas as well as service reorganisation. He was chosen for the UCL Partners Improvement Fellowship programme for 2018, NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur Programme in 2019 and is focused upon quality improvements not just for clinicians, but to find synergies for all. He has a role as Specialist Advisor for Hospitals for the CQC.

Jim aims to bring clinician-centred design to digital healthcare process, gathering rich data, speed and enhanced customer satisfaction. He is a passionate voice for digital enablement demanding a mobile first user-centred approach and believes they must reach a sweet spot between technology, the clinical frontline and environmental design.
